Do you ever think about how many people are basically writing the same book with the same core vexations but from slightly different experiential vantages & using slightly different lexicons/progressions/forms/images, which all ultimately hit the same limit? Humbling
"Shift to the right" implies a change in ideological position. If that were the case, we would not have seen abortion rights enshrined, minimum wages raised, book ban politicians chastised. People's allegiance to the Democrats is what shifted.
I'm sorry but personally if I had an entire theory of the post-Dobbs electorate and Harris landslide that turned out to be a complete mirage, I would have a bit more humility and introspection before telling everyone else to fall in line to my theory of politics
