I love this film precisely for location shots like this one. It's my second favorite Kubrick after Paths of Glory.

📽 Night time street shot of NYC from #FilmNoir Killer's Kiss (1955) Director ~ Stanley Kubrick Cinematography ~ Stanley Kubrick

RIP Mitzi Gaynor, a stellar (as they say in showbiz) triple threat, here with a colleague whom I regard as pure cinema in human form.

An all-time fave TV bit for me. Hey, allow me a little levity in a world gone utterly mad where it's not utterly stupid.

Remembering #AnnMorganGuilbert, who was born #OTD in 1928. We have been sharing clips featuring #MillieHelper on #TheDickVanDykeShow. We saved the best scene for last: Millie’s “Sentimental Love Song” in “Too Many Stars.” What do you think? 😂 Enjoy! #classictv #sitcom

I'm way behind others in that I only recently, finally saw Wake in Fright. It's a tough watch -- traumatizing, some would say -- but masterful, and I can't imagine anyone attempting such a film in today's milieu.

Film-noir heavy Steve Cochran at his house in Benedict Canyon on January 1, 1952. The previous night there has been a drunken party at the house, during which, naked, he clobbered a prizefighter with a baseball bat, resulting in a traumatic brain injury and a lawsuit.
