Find joy in carrying out acts of worship. The Prophet used to say to Bilāl: O Bilāl, give the call to prayer, delight us with it.

i carve my heart out and i hope someone else might look back and see something familiar in the bloodstains.
is it really wrong to wish for something better? "it could've been a lot worse" well it could've also been a lot better and you shouldn't be allowed to call me a servant of greed for it.

my favourite thing about the dictionary is discovering nouns that moonlight as verbs.
