I just realized that I learned my first programming language (Fortran) 50 years ago! Writing primarily in C++ doesn’t seem like a lot of progress.

I just proved that my FoodSaver V3240 vacuum sealer causes my Insteon home automation system to die when plugged in. Why would it do that?
Replacement #nomiku works great! Pork tenderloin, 3 hours at 134, then grilled. Cooked perfectly from thick to thin. Guests loved it!
Oh Well. My #Nomiku died almost immediately the first time I tried it. Seems like the motor is defective.
I assumed that a Leap Motion Controller is rechargeable. It’s not. Every computer accy I’ve bought lately has been. How odd to need a wire.
My Leap Motion Controller arrived today. Unfortunately, the web site says that I can’t use it until Monday. At least it’ll be fully charged.

I just updated my TV room, and was amused that now everything (TV, Blu-Ray, Receiver, Apple TV, and TiVo) connects to the internet.
