🧵 So, in the very early 90s, I used to work in a record shop in Cambridgeshire. Mainly after school and on Saturdays. I never earnt any money, I would just work to pay off my tab, but anyway… early ‘92, the nascent ‘rave’ scene really started booting off round our way…


I’m glad that we might be able to start talking about this again. Make public service cool.

I get annoyed when people say we should ‘look to the private sector’ for inspiration. It perpetuates this neoliberal myth that public sector products and services can never be as good. F*** that. Be bold. Write a new story.
