Never apologize for progress. When you're sharing work for feedback that isn't finished or perfect, don't spend a single breath apologizing for it. "Here's something I'm working on" is a perfectly sufficient preamble.

Sometimes I think about what it would be like if schools and companies more frequently shared buildings. The reason this morning - a new meaning to the phrase “explain it to me like I’m ten” - a power question in work if you lean into it.


One of the single most important reasons for any success I’ve had in life and work has been the weekly observance of a day of rest. Reset, recharge, clear space for the essential.


So far this year I’ve ended almost every conversation with my team with this question… how can I help you to unlock speed and unlock capacity? It’s been a powerful question with almost immediate results.


Just finished Whiplash again. Goal was to see if the final scene was still the best closing scene in all of film. Didn't disappoint.
