🧵Paradox at UC Berkeley In 1973, Berkeley’s graduate admissions data showed that women were less likely to be admitted than men. Fearing potential lawsuits, a statistician was hired to look into the data. At first, the data was confirmed to show what the college feared - women…
There are oceans of underutilized, publicly available data from government departments, research institutions, international organizations, scientific journals, etc. Today, individuals have so much potential to tap into these and gain insight into almost anything.
Rising college costs can be largely attributed to a bloating bureaucracy.
Yep, people (understandably) don't trust nuclear. It's in desperate need of a rebrand, as I don't know if we can escape the stigma of Chernobyl, Fukushima, etc. any time soon.
Not at all. Polls have historically underestimated Trump, so it's not surprising if that's what happened again. All you need is a marginal lead to win, and a marginal lead across the country can end in a sweep.

Quite a few States have increased voter turnout in 2024 vs 2020 (even with incomplete, uncertified data)
It takes a special kind of person to: 1. Push politics on your elementary aged children to the point of panic when Trump wins. 2. Cry in front of them about Trump winning. 3. Record the whole orderal to upload to social media.
Woke mom holds back tears as she tells her terrified kids who won the election:
The vast majority of Americans approve of interracial marriage. Does this seem like a racist nation to you?
The future is gonna be fantastic
