Home & away Spurs season ticket holder. Interested in hearing lots of opinions but also a big fan of ‘block’ and ‘mute’ when necessary.

Tottenham played 544 competitive games this decade, I attended 541 of them Best game: Ajax away Most disappointing: CL final Overall highlight: attending most of these 541 games with my Dad. Here’s to another decade of supporting our team @clive_sparrow 🙌🏻 #COYS

SIXTY TWO YEARS AGO today was my first game at White Hart Lane. We beat Leicester City 4-0 with goals from Danny Blanchflower, Terry Medwin and Jimmy Greaves (2). 😀😀😀😀 The same scoreline against Villa, please! @SpursOfficial #COYS

From a distance and through the netting but it’s nice to see Johnson enjoying the moment! #COYS

To be clear, “the trolls” sending him abuse online probably aren’t the same people now singing his name. Faceless social media trolls have a relatively small overlap with fans who travel to games week in, week out

“𝑂𝑛𝑒 𝐵𝑟𝑒𝑛𝑛𝑎𝑛 𝐽𝑜ℎ𝑛𝑠𝑜𝑛, 𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑟𝑒’𝑠 𝑜𝑛𝑙𝑦 𝑜𝑛𝑒 𝐵𝑟𝑒𝑛𝑛𝑎𝑛 𝐽𝑜ℎ𝑛𝑠𝑜𝑛…” ⚽️ Four goals in four games 🤫 Silencing the doubters 🫸 Key to the Premier League's best press How Brennan Johnson got the Tottenham trolls singing his name ✍️ @alitweedale

Great result, great performance, a most enjoyable day (and night) in Manchester. Surprised that Sky Sports haven’t started selling Van de Ven yet #COYS

Last time Spurs played Qarabag the tickets for spurs fans were free, I had my first (and so far last) gin & pear lemonade (the only mixer available), I saw a carpet museum in the shape of a rolled up carpet & spurs won 1-0. Twas a great trip! #COYS

Pre-match drinks in the pub 3pm kick off Played pretty well Goals for 3 players who really needed goals Wasn’t perfect But deserved to win 3points Post match drinks & food Home Watching MOTD on delay Ideal Saturday TBH #COYS

We are almost always going to concede so need to score at least 2, often 3, to win a game. We are currently not clinical enough in attack to defend the way we do #COYS

It’s 2024 and I’m still hearing more enthusiasm from supporters for singing about Judas & Wenger than about our own players. Even the new Solanke song has had something about Arterta taking it up the a*** shoehorned into it. Tottenham really need better wingers & better singers

Should have been out of sight by HT, could have lost 2-1, could have won 2-1. Here we go again then…#COYS

Martin Brunt on @SkyNews: "Football fans, many of whom align themselves with the far right..." Not me. Not anyone I know. Or have ever known in 50 years going to the game. Sure, there IS a %, but "many" sounds like it's the norm. It isn't. That's balls.

Oh well, it’s not coming home but (a) Berlin has been fun; (b) England losing doesn’t hurt anywhere near as much as Tottenham losing; (c) all the little saddos with draft tweets about England winning because the squad had no spurs players will just have to delete them 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

I assume there must be others but I’ve only ever seen one penalty disallowed because of a stuttering run-up and that was Son vs Rochdale in the FA Cup

If Kane plays tomorrow how Ronaldo has played tonight, these very same pundits will be crying for him to be subbed after less than an hour; with Ronaldo it’s just counting his masseuses, schoolboy jokes about his penis and excessive praise for the few times he is involved

Great goal Bellingham but ditch the hand signals to fans suggesting they shouldn’t criticise & post match comments about how hard players work. Do you know who else works hard, Jude? Fans who spend thousands supporting England, and know crap football when they see it

Bellingham was the last England player to join up with the squad and was our best player in the first game, now he’s been in full training for a few more days he’s also had the joy of football coached out of him

Key moment coming up for Ferdinand & Richards - stick to their line that it’s all Kane’s fault despite Southgate giving them what they asked for and subbing him or actually do some proper analysis of the tactics & Southgate’s inability to get the best out of this group of players

The only pundits who ever talk sense about England at these tournaments are the non-English pundits

Well that’s it for another season. Went to all 41 games, mixed feelings about the season. Hopes for next season: (1) win the PL; (2) win the Europa; (3) win a domestic cup; (4) spurs fans sing about our players instead of S*l Campbell. I wonder which is most likely 🤔 #COYS

“Clever play” “Dark arts” “Skullduggery” “football intelligence” Football commentators & pundits continue to praise cheating in a way that no other sport seems to

Loads of possession, no cutting edge, two soft set piece goals. And repeat. Pathetic.
