Tip: sometimes people follow others not because they think their content is of value but because they're intrigued by what ignorant fecks think is worth saying

You must have followed me because you wanted to see more of my posts. I will never apologise for giving my followers what they want.

Not replying for reasons, but yes it does have a touch of the #turbononce about it

"Ice cream van man, former scoutmaster, freelance school janitor " is your new friend trying to tell you something?

That's funny, @flyinglawyer73 blocked me for asking about his conviction

Is your own conviction spent?

It's funny, despite the news coming out of Afghanistan that means midwifery will essentially cease, @yanisvaroufakis has been entirely silent on the subject. Maybe Afghan women aren't hanging in there hard enough?

Jess Phillips: "A stalking protection order is granted on the balance of probabilities, a criminal conviction is made on the burden of proof"

"Hello, I'm a condescending prick with an overinflated view of my own brilliance" Also: half your life? Probably should have accepted you weren't very good and moved on to something else

I spent half my life pursuing a PhD in biotechnology. I dedicated myself to honest science—running experiments, being critical, and trying to disprove my own hypotheses. Eventually, I earned my degree. It was grueling but meaningful work. Then you see this. This woman just…

Brave? No. Soldier? No. But at least if I want to fucking swear I don't feel the need to censor myself

you dumb f*ck you have zero clue about anything you brave anonymous soldier

Whereas "Ludwig Van B's" is very obviously an accurate marker of identity

😎👍 you so cool.. mr i think i;m anonymous

The legal issues with this aside, no law forces anyone to "tolerate" anything. They remain free to disagree with it, campaign against it, and even defy it providing they are willing to accept the consequences

There is no such "human right" to demand documents that falsify reality. That's why repealing the GRA cannot breach the ECHR. The opposite is the case. Keeping the GRA is a violation of basic human rights bc it forces people to tolerate the violation of their dignity.

Please try to post pictures, I need to see the result after the bombing, I need to see the remaining particles of bodies, and need to know how are the clothes of these people killed, if the biological elements are reduced to particles and clothes remain intact.

Just to say this is a fantastic response to @Humanists_UK being condescending as you like, very sensibly making the point to them that both terms have meanings in law and one is more correct in common use than the other

And there is nothing wrong with Davies using it. But it is less accurate than the phrase "state suicide service" (torture in legislation being pain inflicted by another) so it's not fair to decry the use of one but not the other

In a way that only another pedant will understand, the various threads going about implementing assisted suicide are proving very hard for me to not jump in repeatedly to point out incorrect uses of practice/practise and licence/license

Brilliant, trans men with a GRC are legally male but for the provision of medical services it's a matter of fact that they require screening for females. Got to feel for someone asked to make that argument

Billingsgate Fish Market mentioned on the radio, reminded me of the fantastic 15 Storeys High by the late, great Shaun Lock youtu.be/PZ5lylYqULk?si…

That is a dog, I know a pig roast when I see one and I don't see one THERE, THAT is a DOG, specifically a German Shepherd sized and shaped dog, I could be wrong on exact breeding but it's German Shepherd enough to know

The UK is occupied by a hostile regime. Like when Hitler took Paris. Native born Brits are shut down and sent to prison. They don’t have guns. They can’t fight back. They are held like hostages. Military action must be on the table. To liberate the people.

Young chap on R4 Today saying that jobs need to be more personalised and cater to individual needs, goes on to say that ideally he'd like to do sailing. Yep, and one day you'll learn that nobody owes you owt and you have a choice, knuckle down and get on with it

When I hear reports about Storm Shadow, all I can think of is the line: "Based in America, the Airborne alert force is deployed from the Persian Gulf to the Arctic Ocean, but they have one geographical factor in common: they are all two hours from their targets inside Russia."
