Enjoying a slow Oakland airport before taking off to SLC for #KubeCon. Looking forward to bending everyone's ear about why ENV variables deserve typing and how this breaks us free from the shackles of vendor lock-in. runme.dev/blog/typed-env…

This was a fun opportunity to show how @jeremylewi layered a Copilot for #DevOps on top of @runmedev's DevOps notebook capabilities. Check it out! Thanks, @cloudnativeboy, for being a great host 👏.

Instead of maintaining Doc/Code separately, fuse them into a singular Source of Truth using @runmedev and foyle.io - Runbooks for Incident Management - DevOps Pipelines - integrate with VS Code Watch the ep: w/@jeremylewi @sourishkrout 🎧 youtu.be/j8GiqpmXVCE

I never thought I'd start a sentence with: "And then I built a type system...". Anyways, environment variables are wilder than the wild west. A solution like the 🦉Owl Store is long overdue.

A solution like the 🦉Owl Store is long overdue.

Tired of copying secrets into #GitHub every other day? Chasing down correct values for newly introduced ENV vars after git pull? Today, these problems are going away. Includes a runnable demo using @dagger_io runme.dev/blog/typed-env…

@runmedev by @statefulhq runs your cmd's (shell, bash, zsh), it executes code inside your fenced code blocks, and renders URLs into interactive widgets for GCP/AWS/etc cloud resources I had a great time w/@jeremylewi @sourishkrout, 🎧 on @cloudnativefm youtu.be/j8GiqpmXVCE

Unlike Software Dev, where many paths lead to the same outcome, #Operations need precise descriptions to avoid reverse-eng what's developed @runmedev & foyle.io unlock a Copilot for DevOps that embraces the difference in contrast to @GitHub's Copilot We need both

DevOps is hard because we know what we want to do but often struggle with the how; i.e. the “right magic words” to achieve our intent. With Foyle and @runmedev you can let AI solve the how. Here’s a post showing how that works. future.mozilla.org/builders/news_…

Is it just me, or does #AWS pretend like ACME was never invented? Death by ARN cert-manager paper cuts Mi no apreciado.

It's difficult to accept that #AWS docs such as docs.aws.amazon.com/eks/latest/use… aren't notebooks yet. Like it's a no-brainer: gist.github.com/sourishkrout/b… PS: I don't have time for IaC if I only want a PoC.

Another day, another README that's just plain wrong. No way these docs ever worked "as documented". It doesn't have to be that way.

I'm looking forward to it, too! Tune in to explore Docs as Code, where the Docs are the Code from the ground up. I appreciate @rawkode's kicking the tires and being vocal about feature requests and suggestions.

Really looking forward to my live stream with @sourishkrout next week as we explore @runmedev I've been using this for all my projects for the last few weeks and it's the easiest way to manage and share tasks from your documentation / readmes. youtube.com/live/J7yZXeqz6…

An IDE for Ops must be integral to your docs. Change my mind, dear #DevOps community.

Everything as Code but Docs as Docs. Remember how wise guys like myself tried to convince you to "Trust the Source, Luke"? Well, we were wrong. The key is: MAKE DOCS THE CODE. Learn more in the blog post.

Isn’t it frustrating that remediation steps disappear when we close the #terminal after troubleshooting #DevOps infra? Runme's rollup terminals solve this issue and build your knowledge base. Learn more: runme.dev/blog/rollup-te…

My late, great way to describe @runme is that it borrows from Jupyter #notebooks but accounts for engineers splitting time between editors, terminals, #cloud consoles, browsers, and #pipelines. It's less popular than Hannibal Lecter, yet more coherent. youtu.be/l0sTSqoY6gU

Afraid of breaking old links to your docs site after publishing a significant rewrite? Same. This @runmedev and @GitHubCopilot collaboration is your saving grace. Took like 5min for Copilot to write it. Immediately ready to share with zero confusion. gist.github.com/sourishkrout/c…

Troubleshooting is so much easier with use-case-focused notebooks. Once run locally, they produce a document containing all the info that is easy to share. Like the Gist below, I'm using it to tap into @jeremylewi's colossal brainpower to unblock myself. gist.github.com/sourishkrout/f…

Checkpoint every step along your #terraform'ing infra changes. Memorized as document artifact. An absolute no-brainer with @runmedev In this case, @statefulhq's downloads are now served by @scarf_oss' gateway. Feel free to reuse my notebook in the gist. gist.github.com/sourishkrout/0…

I used @runmedev and @simonw 's llm tool to help me unsubscribe from campaign emails. The AI in @runmedev generated the CLI commands to accomplish the task. This used the llm tool to classify emails and extract the unsubscribe link.

If "tools Claude doesn't know" reminds you of your team's internal tools, setup, and solutions, you're spot on. Runme with @jeremylewi's AI can assist your whole team with workflows. It learns from all team members. Let AI be the ops lead who is never afk. Take that vacation.

I’m tired of copying and pasting @circlebackai summaries into Google Docs. Creating and deploying a webhook is too much work and insufficiently flexible. So I started using @runmedev to create a personal assistant to help me automate this using CLIs.

This is a prime example of how #Devcontainers and Notebook-based 📒 docs with @runmedev bring ultimate reproducibility to anyone's environment. All without being locked into some #DevOps vendor platform. Open standards ftw! 🙌Nice work @usrbinkat 👏
