Product design is more than merely sketching out a product's appearance or designing its user interface. Determining a product's characteristics and usefulness is known as product design. #productdesign #technology

What is a Kubernetes cluster? A Kubernetes cluster is a set of nodes that run containerized applications. Containerizing applications packages an app with its dependences and some necessary services. They are more lightweight and flexible than virtual machines. #k8s

CRI defined: Container runtime interface (CRI) is a plugin interface that lets the kubelet—an agent that runs on every node in a Kubernetes cluster—use more than one type of container runtime. Container runtimes are a foundational component of a modern containerized architecture.

Is Kubernetes a CNCF project? Since joining CNCF, Kubernetes has tallied contributions from more than 7,800 organizations. Today, the top two companies contributing to Kubernetes are Google and Red Hat. Today, they account for 46% of contributions.

What are the benefits of CNCF? Adopting cloud native technologies and practices enables companies to create software in-house, allows business people to closely partner with IT people, keep up with competitors and deliver better services to their customers.

What does the CNCF stand for? The Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) is an open source software foundation that promotes the adoption of cloud-native computing. #k8s

What is the difference between controller and scheduler in Kubernetes? The Scheduler is responsible for scheduling workloads, while the Controller Manager is responsible for managing various controllers that ensure the desired state of the cluster is maintained.

Define Kubernetes scheduler: The Kubernetes scheduler is a control plane process which assigns Pods to Nodes. The scheduler determines which Nodes are valid placements for each Pod in the scheduling queue according to constraints and available resources. #Kubernetes

Cloud-native vs Cloud computing: Cloud-native is an approach to designing, building, and running applications that take full advantage of what cloud computing infrastructures provide: flexibility, scalability, resilience, and elasticity. #k8s #CloudComputing #GoogleCloud #civo

What do you mean by cloud-native? The term cloud native refers to an application that was designed to reside in the cloud from the start. Cloud native involves cloud technologies like microservices, container orchestrators, and auto scaling. #k8s #civo #DevOps #GoogleCloud

What is difference between container and orchestration? Containerization allows developers to package applications and their dependencies into portable, isolated environments, while orchestration automates the management of multiple containers in a distributed environment. #k8s

What is orchestration in containers? Container orchestration automatically provisions, deploys, scales, and manages containerized applications without worrying about the underlying infrastructure. #Kubernetes #docker #DevOps

Kubernetes defined: Kubernetes (sometimes shortened to K8s with the 8 standing for the number of letters between the “K” and the “s”) is an open source system to deploy, scale, and manage containerized applications anywhere. #GoogleCloud #civo #kubernetes

4. Monolithic vs microservice architecture. In the deployment piece, monolithic applications take more time to deploy and are not a fail-fast model. In contrast, in microservices, you can deploy individual components. #civo
