I've thought some more about Kavanaugh's testimony. His lies under oath were not little lies. He specifically lied about "Devil's Triangle" because it was about sex. He specifically lied about "ralphing" because it was about inebriation. He is accused of drunken sexual assault.

Lindsay Graham said he voting to approve Kavanaugh "unless a bombshell comes out that I don't know about." Sexual assault, drunken debauchery, anger issues and political partisanship are apparently not bombshells.
Actually, multiple sources, uncontradicted by your spokesman, said your White House counsel set the limits, including imposing a list of witnesses. With this tweet, it appears you are lifting those limits, which will be good news to a lot of people.
NBC News incorrectly reported (as usual) that I was limiting the FBI investigation of Judge Kavanaugh, and witnesses, only to certain people. Actually, I want them to interview whoever they deem appropriate, at their discretion. Please correct your reporting!
It is critically important that the public be informed of any hidden effort to limit the scope of the FBI investigation. The scope should be unlimited and the FBI should be tasked with determining whether an allegation is credible - as they do every day in this country.

If a witness told me about a simple piece of evidence I could get to help verify or refute her claim when I was a Fed prosecutor & I didn’t even try to get that evidence, I could have been charged with ethical violations. Here the WH is directing that such evidence not be sought.

Brett Kavanaugh failed in every conceivable way. He lied repeatedly under oath, expressed disturbing partisanship, and behaved belligerently. All are reasons not to confirm, and that’s without considering highly credible sexual assault allegations.
