Avian Influenza confirmed in backyard flock of birds in Central Oʻahu : Maui mauinow.com/2024/11/16/avi…

Don’t underestimate H5N1 Influenza killed more people in a year than the Black Death of the Middle Ages killed in a century.

Here we go The CDC is gonna set up clinics in Tulare to test for H5N1 Expect some VERY interesting results. #BREAKING

Yeah, in case someone forgot, #H5N1 is AIR- and FOOD-borne at the same time 🫠🫠🫠

H5N1 has a case fatality rate 30-40X SARS COV1. If we start seeing human to human transmission it may make Covid 19 look like a walk in the park.

H5N1 50 human cases, 475 livestock herds affected and 16 states hit. This is just the beginning. Without decisive action, these numbers will be a whisper compared to the roar of devastation coming.

And if I said y’all already live by the motto “your body, my choice” by existing maskless in public spaces and determining other people’s health for them by spreading covid wherever you go? 25% of all covid infections have no symptoms, but all infections cause damage. Mask up.

Ask yourself why the leading researchers studying Long Covid are wearing respirators in a conference at Rome. Hint: They might know a thing or two about what SARS2 does to the brain and body, and they don’t want to risk an infection. (aaaand respirators work!)

It’s going to be a good day!! Had to have a photo with these research heros 🙌🏼

The birth of a pandemic is so quiet you might miss it. A silent seed planting itself in the world, set to grow into something uncontainable.

C0VlD is about to surge to 1.3 million daily new infections in the U.S. We could save tens of thousands of lives (and possibly ward off another pandemīc) if we wanted. But brunch seems to be more important to most people right now.

H5N1 pandemic is going to start in North America & is going to be managed in a more fckdup way than covid was, bc if leaders learned one thing from covid response it's that voters will love you as long as they can go shopping, and hospitals don't require masking. Mark my words.

So, you are all grasping that 2 ER visits but tracing 35-40 contacts, means NO ONE IN THE ER WAIT ROOM WAS LIKELY CONSIDERED A CONTACT?! It took 90 min just to reach triage at BC Children's Sat. 7 hrs total in PACKED room of coughing kids (& parents). #H5N1 #AvianFlu

“35-40 known contacts during infectious period.” Does this include the countless people sitting in the ER waiting room with them on not just one, but two visits to the BCCH ER? The “masks optional”, only good vibes, waiting room?

Update on human bird flu case in Canada: - Patient is currently in critical condition with acute respiratory distress. - "This was a healthy teenager prior to this, so no underlying conditions" - Initial symptoms were conjunctivitis, fever and cough - Went to the emergency room…

Won't wear a mask. Won't give up vapes. Won't listen to disabled people. Won't stop buying and upgrading tech. Won't boycott. Won't make accessible educational materials. Won't add alt text. Won't stop using AI. Ok wtaf are you willing to do for revolution & better worlds then.

Extraordinarily important at this point to determine if the patient is infected with H5N1 clade 2.3.4.4b (same clade infecting US dairy cattle and dairy workers) and to fully sequence to establish if any mutations may be responsible for ⬆️ virulence. search.app/?link=https%3A…

As the increased threat of H5N1 hits the news, I’m reupping my piece about how govt propaganda threw public health itself under the bus in order to normalize recurrent COVID infections. thegauntlet.news/p/institutiona…

I got COVID in March of 2020, followed by 2.5 years of Long COVID. Combination antivirals seemingly cured me. Today, @longcovidlabs is announcing general eligibility screening for our first study using combination antivirals. 🧵
