Anyone else wake up at 3am starving and wide awake? No, just me? I think this is the first time I've had a delayed reaction to jetlag.
Also now that I visited Turkmenistan, I can take my profile off private again!* *Hiding my "internet presence" (hard to do with published bylines....) was a strong recommendation for getting a visa. But it worked!
I am currently 80 miles from the city of Batman, Türkiye and am kicking myself for not arranging my plans so I could fly in or out of Batman airport (BAL, service to Istanbul & Ankara).
Turkish Airlines does not allow you to choose a seat at check-in unless you pay. Annoying, but whatever. Apparently you also need to check in 6 hours before departure to select a seat. Also annoying. Especially because it's more than 6hr before scheduled departure 🤔

100% did not realize my Global Entry had expired until I checked in for a flight tomorrow and the Precheck didn't show on my boarding pass. Oops. Now to cross fingers my renewal is approved without a follow-up interview.

How do you get over the guilt of leaving your pet at home while you travel even when you know they are well cared for/spoiled/loved by a great sitter?

We started packing a "Wyoming box" with car repair/self rescue supplies after having to change two tires on other trips. And today marks three. WE SHOULD HAVE FLOWN. Y'all be careful if you head there. I swear there are more services in Alaska.

Spent the day in Two Medicine, Glacier National Park, and it was good medicine for the soul. Sad for this week to come to a close. Spectacular trip.
