Hopkins surgeon Dr. Marty Makary was chosen to head the FDA. I wrote a review of his new book, Blind Spots for Psychiatric Times. What one psychiatrist thinks: psychiatrictimes.com/view/is-medica… @PsychTimes

Excellent review. I stumbled upon this review while looking for information on his new book.

Great review, Dr. Miller. Thanks for sharing!

The next entry in my Ketamine Assisted psychotherapy journal is posted on @PsychTimes . My first experience doing KAP in a small group: psychiatrictimes.com/view/doing-it-… #KAP #psychelics

Survey: A member of your household has Covid. You don't (so far). Do you alter your behavior knowing you have had a significant exposure?

Once upon a time, I came to Twitter if I had a question or an issue or a need to engage. I have 2,500 followers, and now my posts get seen by ? 50 people. I miss old twitter.

My series in @PsychTimes on my experiences with Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy is back after being halted. Should psychiatrists even be doing KAP with ketamine? Controversy continues psychiatrictimes.com/view/a-ketamin…

Just heard from a colleague that “insurance companies hate it” when I Tweet about them denying drugs for my patients So I will absolutely continue to do so They’ve got fax machines, we’ve got social media, & they can’t stop us from calling out inappropriate coverage decisions

Wonderful and inspiring speeches at #DNC2024 from our best and brightest, yet there is a hill I will die on: a great speech lasts 20-30 minutes.

Hey X-verse, can you help me understand what REMS is and does. If you prescribe an opiate, do you report something? Do you register once or for each patient or each drug? I've never had reason to use it but people keep asking me why KAP doesn't have REMS. (Maybe ask the FDA!)
