The scale of this crackdown is unprecedented. The free world must now act in an unprecedentedly robust manner. Tough, targeted, coordinated sanctions. A generous worldwide lifeboat scheme. A UN Special Rapporteur Cancellation of the ridiculous EU-CCP investment deal. NOW.

Indian-Hongkongese Jeffrey Andrews, the city’s first minority social worker was also arrested this morning. He also stood for the “35+” democratic primaries, for Kowloon West constituency.

Winning an election is subversion of the state. Ok then. A reminder that we signed a treaty promising to protect #HongKong from stuff like this. Where are those promises now?

[Just In] Former lawmakers James To, Andrew Wan, Lam Cheuk Ting were arrested by police national security branch this morning for last yr legislature election. Police said “35+” (winning the majority in LegCo election) was an act of SUBVERSION, in violation of the NSL.
