Happy Reformation Day! Martin Luther chose this day, Oct 31st, ‘All Hallows Eve’, a Christian holiday when we prepared to celebrate ‘All Saints Day’ on Nov 1st, to proclaim salvation only comes through faith in Christ. This is NOT satan’s day. Every day belongs to the Lord!
Why do so many American Christians think that the Christian faith will bring happiness and prosperity? The fact that 11 of the 12 disciples died as martyrs should tell us something about the kind of commitment God demands. God calls us to obedience not happiness.
Any prayers asking for the healing of our divided nation must begin with praying for the healing of our own divisive hearts. We can't spew hatred & then expect God to heal everyone else first.
The government could not STOP Him, the religious could not CONTROL Him, the crowds could not HINDER Him, our sin could not DETER Him, death could not HOLD Him. He is RISEN!!!
