Back in Canberra for the final two weeks of sitting this year. Obviously the Misinformation Bill is on your minds. If Senators stick to their word it should go down but we will have to wait and see. I’m obviously voting against. I will also vote against banning children…

I will remember all their names when it is time to cast my vote in the Federal election. These government tyrannical goons that tried to shut down free speech.

Press ❤️ if you will never forget they voted for the MAD bill

We have a win. Senator Jacqui Lambie is voting NO to the misinformation disinformation bill. Without a doubt, everything you’ve done - Phone calls, emails and the like. This is all YOU, Australia.

Hello everyone I called these Senators and a staffer of Senator Lambie’s office has advised me that Senator Lambie has decided to vote against the mis/dis bill and she is putting out a statement as much tomorrow. cc: @FranMooMoo

Shutting down free speech is a far greater threat to democracy than misinformation. Please contact these 4 Senators to ensure @AlboMP censorship bill does not not pass the Senate this month👇 Fatima Payman (WA) senator.payman@aph.gov.au 08 6245 3322 Jacqui Lambie (Tas)…

Just remember, the two biggest sources of misinformation are the government and media. They are both exempt from prosecution under the #MisinformationBill. They will decide what is and isn’t misinformation and you will be prosecuted for disagreeing. #auspol

* EXCLUSIVE * The controversial ‘misinformation’ bill is in even more trouble. The Minister and the E-Safety Commissioner are not on the same page. This fact came to light during an interview on 2GB today… 🎧omny.fm/shows/ben-ford…🎧

Just a reminder: banning under 16s from social media is a trojan horse for the misinfo disinfo bill and digital ID. That's why everyone's pissed.

The Misinformation Bill will be drafted in such a way to be vague. Drafted by the UN. This is done on purpose. If they charge you with a thought crime, you'll need a lawyer to argue points of law. You'll go broke defending yourself. This is the modern Australia.

The link is subscription only so not helpful, but @mattjcan is 🎯

The Australian Government's social media ban is a shambles. YouTube will be banned for kids. Snapchat - which is bullying central for young kids - will be allowed. This seems more about keeping kids from information than about bullying or harassment. dailytelegraph.com.au/technology/onl…

Labor's Misinformation Bill is an Orwellian crackdown on your freedom of speech 🗨️❌ Albo should stop trying to control the truth and should start trying to tell the truth! #NSWPol #auspol

WHAT THE HELL HAS HAPPENED TO MY AUSTRALIA ? When I was at school, an iron curtain divided Europe, and the totalitarian regimes behind it censored the flow of information to their people. I remember thinking how lucky we were to live in a free country - but the situation has…

What @AlboMP and @PeterDutton_MP are proposing is a national social media age verification scheme. Or, to put it plainly, every Australian is going to have to prove their age when they go online in a way that they never have before. Maybe it’s by showing government ID, a…
