My dear friend was watching his students’ presentations today and he repeated his student’s reflection on the past year: It’s like being given lemons and wanting to make lemonade but not knowing how to make it. ❤️🍋 Students are my favorite.
It’s the last day of school and I’ve never in my life felt so many emotions at once. This was the longest year of my life! I am grateful for the teachers who supposed my kids through the year and at the same time incredibly thankful to close the door on the hardships of this year
Nothing warms my heart more than conversations with kids during and after reading. I’m currently reading Roll of Thunder Hear My Cry at home and the discussions are amazing. I love seeing the story through the eyes of children.
