just got my associate’s degree and I just got admitted to Texas state this summer. I’m 30, I have a full-time job and I take two classes at a time. go at your own pace, and celebrate your successes. your life is beautiful, ESPECIALLY if it’s unconventional.

Utterly disgusted by this. As the brother of someone with a disability, and as a human being, this breaks my heart. Hurting, torturing & abusing someone, especially people so vulnerable, has no place in modern society. If this is accurate then @judgerc has a lot to answer for.

A residential facility in Massachusetts is using a highly controversial device that delivers an electric shock to modify behavior. Many of the families of residents defend the practice, while rights advocates condemn it. @CynthiaMcFadden reports.

This morning I cracked an egg directly onto my toast instead of the pan. How’s your Thursday going?

Congratulations @sarahbdallas on all the exciting things ahead!!

Friday was our program coordinator @sarahbdallas last day with JCIPE...we will miss her so much and can’t thank her enough for all the ways she contributed to our team over almost 7 years! We’re very excited to hear updates from her internship this year!
