GINA asthma adult and adolescent treatment is divided into two tracks. Track 1, with ICS-formoterol reliever, is recommended by GINA because it reduces the risk of severe asthma exacerbations compared with using a SABA reliever and is simpler. See ginasthma.org/reports/
