#Isles lose 4-3 in OT. So to sum it up, in the back half of the last two games, the Islanders had a 3-1 lead and trailed 3-1 in another. They end up with 2 points from the games, with zero wins. Hockey is so weird. The Islanders make it even weirder.
To OT. Yeah, why not? Another point for the #Isles, moving them into a tie with the Ottawa Senators for the second wild card spot. A win gives the #Isles the spot. Ottawa, Tampa have less games played. Yes, it’s November. Every point counts.

Looking at the replay, horrendous missed call. 97 gets the benefit while clipping and taking out Wahlstrom’s leg from behind. That’s the difference right now.
