Baseball at our house isn’t simple most of the time. Ones wearing a sequins crop top, leather pants, shiny UA cleats. The other is a dinosaur collecting our eggs, which is about the only way we can get her to play outfield. But I wouldn’t change these moments for anything.

Daughter - what is this? Me - it’s a rapsodo D - what’s it do? M - it can tell you things like how hard you hit the ball, spin of the ball, the angle you hit the ball at. Stuff like that. D - can it tell you how scared I am of getting hit in the face? M - 🫢

I used to think the goal was to build the empire and live a wealthy and prosperous life. It’s happening, but it can be lonely and a lot of work. However I’m starting to see the goal isn’t the empire and a sum of money - it was building stronger children than yourself. #Ag

Shout out to the guy on the mic last night on our way home on WS 2289. Guy went out of his way for our girls, gave a heartfelt thank you from the company, and a perfectly worded reminder to take care of each other. @WestJet take care of that man, y’all got a good one.

Our 8 YO has an unbreakable moral compass. So I offered here $1000 to tell me what her “secret” Christmas concert was about. Wouldn’t budge. Told her I’d transfer it right after she spilt the beans. Wouldn’t budge. 6 YO walks into room “I’ll tell you for $1000 dad”.
