Hey friends, this is a vulnerable and important share for me. Last year I got diagnosed with autism, and it basically reframed my entire life. It felt like receiving a Rosetta Stone that connected both my struggles and my gifts into a language I could understand. (thread)

Some easy hand signals for social distancing: ✌️ I need *2 meters* please! 👋 I need *5 meters* please! 👊 Fist bump! 🤗 I would like a hug 🖕 Nope! And if you throw up different signals, the bigger one wins.

Why spend 8 minutes doing a one-time task manually when you can spend 2 hours attempting to automate it?

@trvrb⁩ I’m just reading about you in NYT right now (!). A somber message for sure. Thank you for the work you’re doing 👏

A veteran in Davenport told me that psilocybin mushrooms were the only treatment he found effective for his depression after returning home. We should explore making psilocybin mushrooms legal for medical and therapeutic use particularly for veterans.

There is no shortage of incredible talent, but there is absolutely a shortage of companies willing to pay market rates, hire wherever the talent is, offer a compelling workplace, and not be total shitheads. It’s a real problem! But a fixable one. Be better, do better, hire better

Hiring isn’t the challenge. The challenge is finding people who can be effective while working for executives whose only qualifications and training are narcissistic levels of self confidence.

Nearly every entrepreneur I talk so says hiring is their biggest challenge. The world is starving for competent people with a strong work-ethic.
