Another change for next #odoo version which pain/gain ratio I don't understand: github.com/odoo/odoo/pull… They remove "Storable product" type & add extra check field. Result: having to compare 2 fields on addons & to have bugs because of the missing type with no direct error.
Surprisingly some really cool #odoo are not documented and barely know by lot of developers. Eg you can use binary fields to store dynamic domain values and use them in views. This is especially helpful because returning domains in @onchange is deprecated. Links in comment->
