Wonder why the Tories would make it harder for young people to vote? Know what you need. #VoterID #VoterSuppression #May4 #LocalElections

Daughter just sent me this. Not sure who is responsible, but well done.

The figures below mean approx 12,500 voters went with a Labour first pref and Tory second. Mirrors partly the non political support for our manifesto and our key policies. We picked this up during the campaign but this in part confirms it.

FINAL SCORES BASED ON MY MATHS (ADDING FIRST AND SECOND PREF VOTES): David Lloyd (CON): 167,905 Sam North (LIB DEM): 135,696 Philip Ross (LAB): 76,941 (was eliminated after first round)

This was the first preference result.

Latest in Hertfordshire as well: Lloyd, David Edward (CON) – 155,114 North, Sam (LIB DEM) – 87,524 Ross, Philip Edward (LAB) – 76,941 No candidate gets 50 percent so Conservative and Lib Dems second preference votes will now be counted.

Result for PCC elections are being counted on Monday for Hertfordshire. Thanks to my campaign team. No paid advertising or boosts, just old fashioned clicks and share (and hopefully word of mouth). Impressions/view of tweets 47,000 over last 6 days 152,000 since March

The polls have now closed. Thanks for supporting my campaign. We have achieved great things, win or lose. The ballots won't be counted until Monday.

#VoteLabour Tories are now UKIP. Not what they were even in Thatchers time. From now on #NeverVoteConservatives #ToryBrexitDisaster

It is a surreal experience seeing your name on the ballot paper! Proud to be the Labour & Co-operative candidate. Polls open until 10pm, you don't need your poll card. Postal votes can be handed in at any polling station.

Still time to use your CROSS for ROSS and all our Labour candidates!
