Do sign this petition for more Avocet Line trains and the new station at Hill Barton, #Exeter, to be built. Points out that 14 years have gone by since these plans were announced. They've built the houses, but not the public transport democracy.devon.gov.uk/mgEPetitionDis…

We know our supporters love a transport consultation, so today is a bonanza! Three consultations from our hard-working county council:

Interested in plans for a second new town near #Exeter Airport? Two concept masterplans will be presented to the general public (not just #EastDevon residents) at a drop-in event at the Westpoint centre TODAY from 11.30am-7.30pm. eastdevon.gov.uk/new-community-…

I live within a mile of this lovely path but my cycling commute is nothing like as good and worse since Exeter HATOC cancelled Heavitree Active Streets trial, more noticeably so since schools restarted and more parents are driving kids to school as it's less safe to walk or cycle

When your cycling commute is this good, why would you jump in the car? If you are able, why not have a go at cycling, walking or wheeling this #OutdoorSeptember and leave the car at home? Good for your heath and happiness, our planet and your pocket.

I just can’t get past Labour winning 65% of seats off 34% of the vote. Absolutely wild mismatch between the headline result and, well, everything else. Britain is now a multi-party system, and first-past-the-post can’t cope.

New on the Bike Blog: why road danger is the often-ignored part of helping people cycle (and walk or wheel) more, and how the response to a new report into road justice shows no one seemingly wants to ask drivers to maybe just obey the law and be safe. theguardian.com/environment/bi…

Why does the plastic bottle of still water I bought on @CrossCountryUK say "for hygiene reasons please do not refill" @Brakes_Food ? If I only re-use it myself what's the hygiene issue?

Did you know about this @ExeterCycling? Looks really useful. If @DevonCC considered allowing two-way cycling on some of these one-way streets it could make several of my regular journeys easier, and safer IMO @DannyDBarnes @ExeterCouncil @ExeterCAN bikedata.cyclestreets.net/nocontraflows/…
