My son and I stopped for a delicious lunch at the iconic Rock Cafe in Stroud on Route 66. Should I have ordered the homemade peach cobbler for dessert? Probably not. Am I glad I did? Absolutely!

After breakfast at the Rock Cafe in Stroud on Day 10 of my Sept. 2023 Route 66 trip, it was off to get pictures of murals starting with the Welcome to Davenport sign. This is usually the only picture that Route 66 travelers get, missing all the murals in downtown Davenport, OK.
