Ever wondered why that person you are struggling with (at home, at work, etc) acts the way they do? Here's something a wise man once taught me . . . 👇🏼 #Ship30for30

Something they never tell you when teaching a teenager to drive: It is extremely annoying to go the speed limit on county roads (35 mph). You don’t want to tell them to break the limit. But you also don’t want to suffer through an excruciatingly long drive.

Listened to @Naval's perspective on happiness in a podcast, and it really resonated with me: "Self-obsession is the root of all unhappiness. The happiest people in life love something more than they love themselves. They love their children, they love God, they love their…

Sitting in a Jersey Mikes and there are 29 customers to 3 employees. They have no chance at keeping up. People have been waiting for 15 min to pay. We’re going on 20 min for a carry out ordered an hour ago. There is a labor issue in our country regardless of what the data says

I’ll second this

If you're building a new bonus structure for your team, here are 3 rules of thumb: 1. Make sure performance is easy to track 2. Don’t incentivize more than 3 things at a time 3. Focus on what your employees can directly control

Obviously Milton Friedman is right but as I watched this clip, the thing that stuck out to me the most was the fact that Donahue didn’t interrupt him 15x during the middle of Friedman talking. I miss that

Phil Donahue died today at the age of 88. I never get tired of watching one of Milton Friedman’s greatest Donahue moments:

Awesome story from Austin here

7 year old kid with 25 vending machines making money You have to hear one of the most inspiring stories I've ever encountered in my life about entrepreneurship and SMB Last Sunday, I was reading a local article about a seven-year-old boy who started a business. I did some…

I’ve never worked with someone excellent who uttered the words: “That’s not my job”

A great decision cuts off alternatives This is why many people struggle to make great decisions. Operating in the gray is not natural to most

Used this quote 3x today so thought I'd pass along in case it is helpful to others: “Unspoken expectations are premeditated resentments.” Neil Strauss
