My book is out @BerghahnAnthro #openaccess! Rest in Plastic is about Ghana, remembering the dead and how synthetics play a role in that, considering the colonial past. Free digital publication, 50% off print with BREDE5034. Hurra! berghahnbooks.com/title/Bredenbr…

Amélie Roussillon has written a report on the “Defining Missionary Collections and Collecting” workshop! The report reflects on the German Lost Art Foundation’s workshop, to which members of the Pressing Matter project were invited. Read more below! religiousmatters.nl/defining-missi…

I need an article from the Oxford Research Encyclopedia of African History but my uni doesn't subscribe to it. I asked a colleague in Leiden and she also couldn't get it. Then I asked people in Lisbon, the UK, South Africa and the US. No one has access. It's seriously disturbing.

Not to miss here in the Netherlands!! Victor Gama builds and plays his own instruments inspired by Angolan landscapes, people and history: Openingsconcert Victor Gama 'Tectonik:TOMBWA' afrikamuseum.nl/nl/zien-en-doe… #afrikamuseum via @afrikamuseum @victorgama
