We are able to see a wildfire along the NJ/NY border from space courtesy of @NOAASatellites Some of this smoke/haze may be visible further south into NYC. Smaller fires are also faintly visible, one in central Passaic County, one in SE Orange County, one in SW Putnam County.
I feel like streaming services (those you don’t subscribe to) should do what Blockbuster did when a popular movie came out, charge $1.99 to get access to it for 48 hours.

BREAKING: NYPD Commish Tom Donlon to resign, just weeks after being appointed by Mayor Adams. Donlon had replaced Edward Caban, who stepped down following a federal investigation involving his brother. Shortly after taking the role, Donlon’s home was searched by federal agents.
