Fantastic day reflecting on the undertaking of this mammoth task. Incredible to see when the art of the impossible becomes possible, great people create great things #teamWAST

Some days are more than a challenge and I may jest and think other career pathways would of been easier, however once a nurse always a nurse. I am just as proud today as the day I qualified to be part of this amazing profession, for me this was and is my vocation. Happy #IND24

Rhiannon become a nurse in 2006, with a background in medical admissions and cardiology. She became a nurse advisor for NHS Direct Wales and has taken on many different roles. She was involved in designing and implementing the new system used within NHS 111 Wales. #IND2024

Huge pride in @NHS111Wales this week as we launched a new patient management system (CAD), a Call Streaming Prioritisation System & Clinical Decision Support System having only had 140 days to plan, develop & implement. Incredible effort from a fantastic team @WelshAmbulance

Happy International Paramedics Day @ParamedicsUK to all paramedics & those who support them, especially @WelshAmbulance @NHS111Wales I'm celebrating at the sand pit with the kids so that my amazing Paramedic wife gets some undisturbed sleep in between ambulance night shifts.

Took the train to North Wales today and visited #TeamWAST colleagues in our clinical contact centre here. Good to hear about how things like the new UK wide 999 call intelligent routing platform are working for our people.

A thoroughly human reminder of the tremendous cost to our patients and people from systemic pressure across the urgent and emergency care system

No reminder is needed of the pressure the NHS is facing. Between February and April, 24,000 ambulance hours were lost waiting outside A&E in Wales. Health Correspondent @catherine5news has spent the day with the Welsh ambulance service in North Wales. #5News
