We've sent 5,000 people to sayNOtoHPMA.com in the last three days. Let's get this retweeted and send some more! Highly Protected Marine Areas are a real threat to already fragile communities. Say NO to HPMA. @Skipinnish

@scottishgreens objecting strongly against Flamingo Land 2 plans. Fair enough. Shame they won't listen to the objections of local islanders to the HPMA proposals which will decimate Scottish islands fishing industries and severely impact population.

The height of a man's Calvinism no longer impresses me. I want to know whether it's made the man small.

Any government unwilling to look in on itself critically is unfit to look out on its citizens compassionately.

Before you can know Jesus as your Good Shepherd you need to enter through Jesus as the Door to eternal life - John 10 v 7-16.

When Jesus said, "whoever comes to me I will never cast out", he did not mean that he would never refuse to accept them, although this is true. He meant that once accepted by him he would never eject them. The ultimate security of tenure!

When Jesus said, "In this world you will have tribulation" he didn't add "but take heart, you can overcome the world." No, he added "but take heart, I have conquered the world." There is no battle we face that he has not already overcome! What he requires is that we follow him!

It's not without purpose that the first question in the New Testament is, "Where is he who is born the King of the Jews?" We meet the Saviour on the very threshold as we enter!

In this Covid-19 situation, the most vulnerable people have greater than usual challenges. This video from Christians Against Poverty specifically addresses this emergency. If you can help, the details will come up as you watch. facebook.com/StornowayFreeC…
