Christ came to us when we couldn’t come to him, and lived for us a life we could never live. He died a death we deserved and bore the guilt we could never bear. Why? Why would He do this for us? Because He wanted to redeem humanity to be what it was always meant to be - 1 w/ God.

Given the proposal to double the cost of humanities degrees in Australia, I would like to point something out. Science can show us how to extend life or enhance life, while arts and humanities show us why life is worth living.

So, I’ve just finished “13th” and “Just Mercy.” I’m a wreck. I’m still trying to process how we can live in a society where these two could remotely be true... Father, have mercy on us. Forgive our blindness and help us change. Black lives DO matter.
Do you think people in the early church told James to “just preach the gospel” when he wrote that faith without works is dead? Christians’ actions should be congruent with their professed beliefs. If they are not then all they really have are platitudes. (James 2:14-16)
Fellow Human Beings: Our systemic problem must be dealt with holistically. We cannot bandage the wound any longer. We must remove the old “fixes” and cut out the real infection. Only then can true healing take place. Ignoring the issues won’t fix them. #EnoughIsEnough
