Hayden Hackney: The Unassuming Superstar Who is he, and why has the Teesside product been linked with England’s greatest clubs? A look into Hackney’s profile.🧵
Might start for Liverpool, too. Has he ever played RW for a decent amount of time?
This is a potentially world-class player. Completely self-sufficient. Powerful ball-carrier. Accomplished ball-striking. Rugged contact absorption. Starts for any team in England bar Liverpool.
Ferguson is right there for the taking. Anyway, 30 million Mr Steidten.
🚨 West Ham are considering a January move to sign Middlesbrough striker Emmanuel Latte Lath to bolster their attacking options. (Source: @DiMarzio)
West Ham, YOU have an Antonio upgrade
🚨🚨| Brighton striker Evan Ferguson is available on LOAN this January. [@TeleFootball]
For the first time I’m not confident in Ben Doak beating an opponent, seeing Ebosele.
New app, same Hackney propaganda. (handle should be restdefence.bsky.social, idk why it says that)
money in the fucking bank
Or just bring Mbeumo instead and move on
Only really a loan because of FFP rules, I guess. If this is their marquee attacker signing, I like it but it’s not perfect.
Andrew Robertson, it’s time to learn Arabic. How we have passed on easily upgrading the most disjointed profile in our team, whilst he keeps declining physically, astounds me. Tsimikas deserves a run in the side. He’s now arguably got a higher physical level than Robbo.
TRANSLATION: he likes the smoothness of a 17 year old
Do you know what the difference is between Yamal and Saka and why it took so long for many people to realize Saka’s superstardom? Because Yamal’s body transfers energy better. That’s all you need to know.
Maybe because that is exactly how he’s developed, from an experimental tactician to an ultra-paranoid coach.
It's really crazy how people went from calling Arteta a hipster to a terrorist just because he wants to kill top teams and have defensive stability.
🚨 | BREAKING: According to @OptaJoe data, @Arsenal enjoy more LENIENT refereeing decisions compared to all 'Big Six' sides, while #ManCity are punished MOST HARSHLY. [via @EveningStandard]
Can I just clear this up for the ones that don’t understand The first 3 are locks for me. The 4th spot is up for grabs for any of the others mentioned, AS WELL AS KDB, and any others I have forgotten. It can’t be that hard to understand
Henry, Rooney, Shearer, could say Ronaldo, could say Salah, could probably say Gerrard, and I’ve definitely forgotten a few more that all have a greater legacy. Not saying KDB doesn’t have a case, though.
He’s renewing, unless he gets lowballed (which I can definitely see happening) If he gets the money he wants, I don’t think he’ll consider Real.
Real Madrid have made Liverpool’s Trent Alexander-Arnold a priority target. Alexander-Arnold’s existing deal expires in June 2025 and from January he will be free to negotiate a free transfer with other clubs. More from @MarioCortegana ⬇️
Will probably end up being the best *technical* LB itw. Pretty much an upgraded Zinchenko.
My first pick would be Aston Villa. Could you imagine him next to the physicality and box dominance of Amadou Onana, and with Kamara behind to sweep up? It’s a passer’s dream, and Hackney would fit like a glove in granting the runners on Villa’s flanks a creator to receive from.
Southampton’s pivot is very, very good. Great ballcarrying from Lesley there. Good interplay, too.
