To recognize the importance of Truth and Reconciliation Week and #OrangeShirtDay, flags at all #WRDSB schools and worksites will be flown at half-mast until the end of day on Monday, October 4 - the National Day of Action for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls.

Mrs. Buehler read us the book "Meet Chris Hadfield" by Elizabeth McCleod. We did our best to make sketchnotes of the main ideas. We are all at different places in our learning. Many students found this helped them to remember the story details better. Thanks @apples4theteach

Tip. If you are participating in the WRDSB Monster Tree challenge, looking for Waterloo Region's largest trees, the trees in the middle of a forest have to compete for light and water and nutrients. Some of the biggest local trees will be found in more open areas, ie, parks.
