It's weird that cart transform functions will reset item quantity to 1 when adding dynamic bundle or add-ons. The run function sees quantity as 1, even if it were 2 or 3 in the customer cart. Y
After building checkout extensions (while limited and clunky at times), the comparison really shows how much of a total shit show building for storefronts can be. Why are dynamic checkout buttons doing ANYTHING to prevent normal operation of adding items, updating attributes?
Anyone familiar with portable-wallets.js which is injected into certain @Shopify storefronts? It's clobbering the public Cart API / cart liquid responses. Adding a new item seems ok, but reloading the cart page - the item is missing. Blocking the script solves the issue.
All I want for BFCM is @ShopifyDevs to release first class API and webhooks for theme extensions. I want to programatically read and manage the state of the theme extension in a given theme, without reading a sloppy settings json file.
