Nobody has stronger opinions about the world than someone who’s lived in the same town their entire life.

Actually way more irritating than loud children on a plane: listening to their parents’ hapless, failed negotiations with them.

I was hoping for a return of the monoculture not the mono-syllabic culture.

Juror #2 would make a fun double feature with Investigation Of A Citizen Above Suspicion.

I personally think getting into Akira Kurosawa movies might be the best thing anyone can do for themselves

This might be the worst game in the history of professional football.

There’s nothing Kevin O’Connell loves more than to run 8 yards backwards in the red zone.

The Vikings have more than double the time of possession over Jacksonville yet they’re losing by more than 1/2 the score.

This Vikings game is giving me election flashbacks.

“Listening to someone eat an apple is one of life’s great pleasures.” — no one, ever

Just saw Juror #2 during its (very) abbreviated theatrical run. Two thoughts: 1) Old guy’s still got it 2) Based on the big crowd at my 12:30 afternoon showing, they should have obviously put this in more theaters for a longer run.

Aw damn, one of the greats. So many classic horror movies, among others. Sneaky-fun overlooked choice: Wishmaster.

Top 10 movies of the year (so far): Anora 100s Of Beavers Challengers Kinds of Kindness Civil War Rumors Maxine Monkey Man Oddity Rebel Ridge (still yet to see Sing Sing and Blitz)

Those who cannot remember the past make me doomed to repeat it.

This was a great one. I'm a sucker for an unreliable narrator, and anything that plays with vernacular and voice. (Now you know why I chose several such tales.) So, if you want to find out what trailer parks, math, and ninja swords have in common, pick up a copy of Body Shots!

Genuinely excited for the debut of Body Shots from @subtlebodypress & my crime story “D=LOG N/LOG S.” One of my favorite things I’ve ever written. Trailer park noir, mathematics, and a ninja sword.
