As of today, I've been let go from Destructoid so I'm a free agent. If anyone knows of any games writing opportunities, especially for news coverage, I'd appreciate it if you sent them my way.

In all of of his work, Scott brought a level of professionalism, insight, and empathy for an industry that's often lacking those traits. He's an absolute joy to have on staff and will be sorely missed by the Dot team. Any newsroom would be lucky to have him.
This morning I was let go by GAMURS. After nearly four years with Dot Esports, my time has come to an end, and I am now looking for work in writing, press relations, and/or content creation, preferably still within gaming and esports.
It was always such a pleasure to edit any of Michael's features. He's an incredibly talented storyteller and brings such a positive attitude to the team. I know he'll kill it wherever he goes!
Last week marked the end of my four-year tenure with @DotEsports Nothing but gratitude and love to all those who I've crossed paths with over the last few years. Brighter horizons ahead.
Cale is such a wonderful person to work with and is by far one of the most knowledgeable people I know on the Pokémon and FGC beats (definitely taught me a thing or two!) -- Anybody would be lucky to have him on staff.
After 5+ years and over 7,600 articles, I was informed today that I am being let go from Dot Esports. I’ll talk more about specifics later, but for now, I am open to work of all kinds (preferably full-time) in writing, media communications, etc.

Not going to go through another round of hack/leak discourse. What's newsworthy is a decision every journalist and newsroom makes for itself. It is not made lightly or in a dumb chase for "clicks." If making money was the point we would have left this business a long time ago.
