How is this not trending right now??? These are images of newly discovered trilobite fossils preserved in fine pyroclastic ash at the Lemdad Valley of Morocco! They are never-before-seen details on the soft tissues normally not preserved in trilobites.

Congratulations to friend and labmate @AllynBrittney for defending her @IGGPenn thesis yesterday! An incredible amount of work elucidating the mechanisms by which the Tcrb locus folds to facilitate TCRb gene assembly 🥳🥳🥳

Did you ever wonder why our marrow is located inside of our *bones*, #MedTwitter? There’s no a priori anatomical reason it should be sited there. Blood cells could form in our spleens & livers, as they do during our fetal lives; or elsewhere, as in some animals. Let’s discuss! /1

When you have a 'gut feeling' it might be mechanosensation! Your gut is in constant motion and these movements are sensed by neurons and regulate GI motility. We describe the role of sensory neuron PIEZO2 in regulating gut function in mice and in humans: cell.com/cell/fulltext/…

Super excited to announce that I’m starting a new position as a Scientist in the Cancer Vaccines Group at @moderna_tx!!
