3/3 LETS Go Ranger!!!!!

2/3 You deal or keep him in year 2 of a bridge deal. Just my opinion but who knows. We’re still in a rebuild b/c this is not a mature roster and there are many unanswered questions with Cap, player development, etc. I am totally chill about it b/c JD is in charge w/ Gorton.

1/3 My 2 cents regarding State of the Rangers: Money is being spent in right places. You have to keep Buch & trade Kreider. Yes, I will miss Kreiders breathtaking speed, but it’s over and Buch is younger, a more pure goal scorer, and cost controlled to an extent for a few years.

Will see if Dunden’s bravado matches his bank account.

But they didn’t do it well:). Just basically resigned Aho for the Canes at a reasonable deal:)

LW’s are hard to find and depth falls off after Panarin.

I still want to find a way to keep Kreider. Would love to see him stay for 7x5 @ 35 mil, if he really wants to be here. Once you lose him you want to find his replacement. I believe the UFA market, next year after Hall, is very weak. And the former might resign in the swamp. 🤔

We have: The right President The right GM The right Head Coach The right Goaltending coach The right Scouting Dept. The right Shift in Hartford The right Franchise Appeal The right Prospect depth The right _________________ How does this team not have a cup in its future🤔

It can be a cruel league.

McPhee went from genius GM to tenuous head scratching status. Seattle take notes.

Smartest thing Rangers should do IMHO is avoid free agency all together w/ exception of depth players on 1 year deals. Save cap space to sign home grown players to LTC down the road & be in position to pounce on the trade market. One of these RFA’s could likely be dealt.

**correction** like “nothing” we’ve...

Absolutely. It’s clear he has the drive and will to be special. This is going to be quit the ride like Timothy g we’ve experienced.

Ok, now what’s next Jeff? Lead us.

Keep it up Matthew. Not knowing the politics (I worked at NHL productions in the late 90’s) would love to see you and Patrick O’Sullivan do a show together. Both have unique insights. BTW- in an alternate universe, you we’re meant to be a blue shirt, albeit your a Sabre lifer.

Not to mention I’ve been waiting for this type of rebuild forever!!!!! Even a first for me.

2/2: ...on this trajectory, you younger fans will deservedly experience what it’s likes to be a juggernaut. Yes, it will take time and more gains have to be made, but it sure smells like a dominant era is upon us, and the younger, as dedicated fan base, deserves the experience.

1/2: As a 47 yr old blue shirt lifer, (hooked when listing on radio under the covers to Maloney tie it up in gm 5), I remember the dominant 94 team & how short lived it was. Being the beast of the league was an amazing experience. This feels similar, and if Gorton continues on...

I meant PA

You still have a lot to see my friend:)

Signing Rykov is a move w/ significance IMHO. Very good move. Players are realizing they need to be part of this to possibly cement an NHL job. Good stuff.
