Went to use the 😒 emoji and it wasn't in my recents so I'm taking that as a sign that life is going too well right now

I also started a Type 1 Diabetes account to share stories and info about what it’s like to live with #T1D in Canada today! My first TikTok is about how I self-diagnosed myself with Type 1 Diabetes when I was 12 years old! vm.tiktok.com/ZMJErRFXU/

This past weekend, a pretty famous author tweeted out some very transphobic and transmisogynistic things. It was not feminist. We send love to anyone harmed by her comments. Ottawa Women's March affirms that TRANS WOMEN ARE WOMEN and that trans rights are human rights.

My only thought on tweets like this: it’s not POC’s job to make us feel okay about being white. We’re fine. We need to amplify their voices, donate to organizations that can help, and seek out resources to make us better allies without burdening POC with our white guilt.

I was talking to a couple white friends about the tiny ways white supremacy snakes its way into normalcy and I realized how invisible some of it has become to nonblack people. Tiny ways we're dehumanized daily. So I wanted to do a quick thread about a few examples.
