Special thank you to all these people from @ConsumersEnergy who came out to fix my power this morning. Based on the outage map, a very small number of people were affected. I was surprised to see so many trucks out there making sure power was restored as soon as possible.

"Doing your best isn’t about the result. It’s about the preparation. It’s about the position you find yourself in before doing whatever you do. When you put yourself in the proper position, the result takes care of itself." — @farnamstreet Newsletter fs.blog/brain-food/mar…

There's never a "good" time to take a week off. I left plenty of to-do items unchecked but they'll be there next week. I'm confident my team has everything under control and a week in the mountains will fuel my creativity. This is my view for the week from Blue Ridge, Georgia 💙

Never again will I rent a car through the @Delta app or @thriftycars ... Landed in Atlanta, waited in line for an hour and then I find out they cancelled my reservation. I paid an extra $250 for the car in the end -- and possibly more because I'm pretty sure they charged before.

One of my all-time favorite memories popped up today ... The time my husband picked up the wrong dog from daycare. He got several miles away before getting suspicious because this one was better behaved in the truck 😂

Sometimes when I'm working on a web page, I have to tweak some HTML ... and I'm reminded of the fact that I learned the basics of HTML when I was a kid playing an online game called Horseland and later as a teen on MySpace. #ElderMillennial

Hustle culture will have you believing you need to run your #sidehustle at the expense of your free time (and sanity). I chatted with Leah Keggi about how she balances her role as a VP of marketing with her side gig in surface pattern design. Listen to learn more! #career

While I no longer work in social, I feel this deep in my soul 😂

With @SproutSocial currently down, a reminder for all you Gen Z social media managers out there, native is how we geriatric Millennials rolled back in the day.

Working on a website redesign and a team member just said it was "the most beautiful thing to ever come out of the MarComm department," which is amazing to hear after months of agonizing over this project.
