Today, we had student-led discussions based on our anchor texts this unit: Oedipus Rex and Chronicle of a Death Foretold. 1 group was looking at gender lens and a student said, “Women have bigger stories to tell” than submissive wife. I’ll be keeping that phrase with me!

Just found out that @quizizz lets you write directly on the slides now! Normally I project onto my whiteboard and write on it with markers but this is our (first ever) remote learning day and it's just GREATLY simplified my process!
Today was our first-big-structured-student-led class discussion, and I was so impressed with how students did! They brought some great knowledge to the table, and they made the time fly by! I enjoyed sitting back and listening to their analysis of ancient epics!
