I’m not here to fight about bathrooms. I’m here to fight for Delawareans and to bring down costs facing families.

No matter how many orgasms she has, they won’t make her pregnant. Pregnancies can only happen when men have an orgasm. Unwanted pregnancies can only happen when men orgasm irresponsibly.
With an ethics or responsible AI approach to deployment -- I mean, the expert kind, not the PR kind -- you would leverage the fact that Gemini is a system, not just a single model, & build multiple classifiers given a user request. These can determine: 12/
A Democrat was in the White House when my family was sent to the internment camps in 1941. It was an egregious violation of our human and civil rights. It would have been understandable if people like me said they’d never vote for a Democrat again, given what had been done to…
You might not know about @simonw's command line 'llm' tool. Here let me demo it. git log | head -n 200 | llm -s "Of the most recent 5 commits, which is probably the most important? I use 'Minor' and similar commit messages to mark unimportant commits."
Every startup founder needs to watch this.
Left: how humans see starlings. Right: how starlings may see each other - with bolder markings and more colour. The amazing world of UV vision, seen through the eyes of…. birds.
Another fine example of a scribe’s error being corrected. Here the words are being pulled down by one man towards another who waits between the fourth and fifth lines to receive them - c. 1300, English Book of Hours, Walters Ms. W.102, f. 39v

Nobody should be using GPT detectors for anything important. From a recent study that found that GPT detectors were misclassifying writing by non-native English speakers as AI-generated 48-76% of the time (!!!), compared to 0%-12% for native speakers. aiweirdness.com/dont-use-ai-de…
A recent work from @iddo claimed GPT4 can score 100% on MIT's EECS curriculum with the right prompting. My friends and I were excited to read the analysis behind such a feat, but after digging deeper, what we found left us surprised and disappointed. dub.sh/gptsucksatmit 🧵

Prigozhin wanted to return to the simpler life and will be restarting his catering business, focused on Belorussian delicacies in Minsk.
People are being relatively responsible about their Russia takes and I'm left craving some baseless speculation.
This was crazy. I asked Bing to create lessons on entropy for middle schoolers (more, and prompts: oneusefulthing.org/p/democratizin…) I also asked it make a game to explain it. It gave me working code for a game it designed, where I can change entropy and see the results on molecules.
We create a new dataset of opinion polls, OpinionQA, and compare LM responses to those of 60 demographic groups in the US. With this, we can quantitatively and comprehensively characterize who current LMs are aligned to.
We know that language models (LMs) reflect opinions - from internet pre-training, to developers and crowdworkers, and even user feedback. But whose opinions actually appear in the outputs? We make LMs answer public opinion polls to find out: arxiv.org/abs/2303.17548
Our Dark Matter Zinfandel four sisters vineyard covered in snow atop Howell Mountain! We are without power, so no internet as well.
I sat down with Washington @RepMGP to talk about the flipped district most national consultants - including the DCCC - never saw coming — and her thoughts on how her party approaches rural/middle class voters. She didn’t hold back. politico.com/news/magazine/…
Um, so this bird just casually rode the subway from Coney Island to Avenue X. Casually walked off like it’s his regular commute. ❤️NY
