Another great paper from @qccsrc #PoweringCCS #CCS #CCSRocks

Our new Data Descriptor Paper on time-resolved 3D imaging of drainage and imbibition in carbonate rocks. The publicly accessible data can be used to validate pore-scale models and to investigate displacement and trapping mechanisms. nature.com/articles/sdata…

Our last Clean Fossil Fuel seminar under the kind sponsorship of @QCCSRC and its a cracker! Dr Daniel Eriksen from @Shell talking about how thermodynamics is a hot topic in the O&G industry. He was a PhD student with @qccsrc and Prof George Jackson and Dr Andrew Haslam pictured

John Crawshaw from @qccsrc gave a presentation on observations from carbonate rocks. Predicting reaction rates can be difficult due to rock heterogeneity at a range of scales. Their work experimentally validated simulations using a cylindrical hole drilled in solid calcite.

With #GreenGB finishing we carry on with #GHGT14 in🇦🇺@IEAGHG starting soon & talking all things #CCS, here’s a round up of @imperialcollege participation I know of, with @Niallmacdowell @rosteadys @qccsrc leading the vanguard, come along & ask questions! #poweringCCS #CCCRocks

An interesting talk in the Clean Fossil Fuels today by our own Dr Ruien Hu on the problems of understanding small particle wettability - an issue largely just avoided and very poorly qualified #poweringCCS #CCSRocks #GreenGB #CCS

This was me in 2016 and 2017. I know a stranger's words don't mean much during a time like this (even my best friends' encouragement didn't help me much), but I hope all of you looking for jobs stay strong and keep pushing forward. I BELIEVE IN YOU.

A very interesting topic, shame it wasn’t published later in the month, 🎃 👻 🧙‍♀️ 🧙‍♂️ but great work between our people in @ImperialRSM & @ImperialChemEng

Excited to share our new article on the identification of "Ghost" features of carbonate rock dissolution sciencedirect.com/science/articl… @qccsrc
