On average, how frequently do you buy/build upgrades for your 3d printers?

Another blazing day in Tokyo! Atleast its “only” 60% humidity today 😓

May be working on something... any board game players in the audience?

Although I really enjoy looking at the work of inspired vehicle designers, I can honestly say that the hubless wheel is the dumbest and most irritating feature to still be incorporated into concepts...

We have an exciting piece of software in the works. A simple gcode evaluator that injects custom gcode depending on T number sequence. Anybody interested in beta testing? Lemme know!

Got sent these two photos by mr. TJ Thompson. He printed the multicolor keychain from Mosiac. No scaling was done and here we see the material waste by Selectra vs Palette. The one with the tiny bar was made by Selectra, a considerable saving was realized.

I know Protea Design is still a super small company, but it inspires a lot of excitement to get emails like this one:

Anybody have a proper pinout and pin assignment list / diagram for the Creality CR-10 or CR-10s mainboards?

Does anyone know if the M3D quad fusion head still needs to do a prime/purge operation when “switching” colours?

Problems flow... The light engine’s DMD chip is totally broken. Most of the mirrors are stuck “ON” and EnvisionTec wants $25k to fix it, but the projector used is a standard Dell 7609WU. Maybe someone has one sitting around...?

I just got this machine from a Japanese friend of mine. He runs a “recycle shop” and has been trying to sell it for months, but there’s been zero interest. He was like “You want it?”, “You can take it”. I got it FOR FREE!! WOOT!!!
