Very excited to see this come out from @JAMA_current on an all-important public health issue: ACL Injuries in Female Athletes. Props to PRiSM authors @JTNapolitano & @sportingjim for making us aware of some of the salient issues in this Insight piece.
Female athletes have higher risks of sustaining an ACL rupture and lower odds of returning to sport than male athletes. However, ACL injury prevention programs are effective. This JAMA Insights article discusses ACL injuries in female athletes. ja.ma/3LEcScn
