The COPE hearing early this year even revealed that on many key metrics, UL is already more efficient than other well known global airlines. It's main problem now is lack of planes - for which you can blame politicians - who I will not name.
We already have evidence that a competent (foreign) CEO can turn things around. It's been happening the past 2 years as COPE has found. UL wld be doing even better today if not for political interference from COPE in the previous 2 years. For that the SJB bears some blame.
