Starmer now ensuring that the next election is utterly pointless and will have the lowest turnout ever. His praise of Thatcher is the de facto end of social democracy and an endorsement of the continuation and consolidation of the last 40 years unopposed hegemony of big money.

I apologise, but try as I might, I can’t find any material for #TheWeekInTory. Only kidding. It’s an absolute casserole. Let’s down a pint of absinth and get stuck in. Also - trigger warning. 🧵

Trainspotting parodies usually bore the shit out of me, but I quite like this one.

Rather than continue trying to respond to various threads arising from the backlash against Diane Abbott's letter and retraction, I thought I'd try to set out my perspective as an historian of colonialism more coherently: 1. Racism and antisemitism are both abhorrent forms of…

So this happened….They made me wait 50 minutes to speak so by the time I got there…

This lady has just spent 2 mins absolutely eviscerating the Conservatives on their record on EVERYTHING 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 #BBCQT “ I’m staggered that you think you’re succeeding… Watch and listen!

RIP to Paul O'Grady. I suppose we'll see this clip a lot today, but it can't be shown enough. I'd love to know what went into its being broadcast and if he ever got any pushback. I've never seen anything so dazzlingly, righteously angry on Consensus Approved TV since.

Jeez. The Home office video of Suella Braverman saying “Enough is enough. We must stop the boats” is almost at 2 million views. Lets make sure the public know it was her Government which created this situation by sharing this as widely as possible

The elephant in the room the Government doesn’t want to mention is that the skyrocketing rise in small boat crossings is in large part a consequence of the Brexit deal championed by both the Prime Minister & the Home Secretary & now they plan to use it to trample on human rights

Retweet if you think big media channels have a responsibility, when women are dying every three days from misogyny and male violence, not to legitimise and embolden abusive misogynistic views. ITV should fire Jeremy Clarkson.

This woman was a hero, I hope she is proud of the way she took a stand for refugees and asylum seekers. It gave me hope, she represents the kind of Britain I want to live in. No human is illegal. #bbcqt

A reminder. Next time you get mad about benefit claimants or refugees, remember that 7,000 shell companies registered to only five addresses in London made claims to the Covid furlough scheme. They claimed up to £473 million between them. #ToryFascists #GeneralElectionN0W
